At a loose end.

The last few days have been a bit of a wash out really. I've hardly taken a shot. Opportunities have been few and far between, and the chance to find something new to photograph hasn't really presented itself

So in an effort to improve my skills rather than show something new i stuck with a few easy targets. The Mallard is a beautiful bird, look at the different colours.


The Bramblings colours are also worth a look.


We don't always see the Great Tit as a beautiful bird, but clearly there are a number of colours here.

Just threw a Robin in for good luck. But of course it has it's own colours.


The Blue Tit is beautiful too. Trying to reproduce this beauty in picture is, I guess, what photography is all about.

I'm always impressed by other peoples photos that show vibrant colour. I guess that lighting is what it's all about.
