Whilst at Gigrin Farm in Powys recently to photo the Red Kite the opportunity to get Buzzard at close range also presented itself.

I'm always amazed at the colour variations of Buzzards. Here are a few examples. Note the presence of the Raven in this second shot, it seems to dwarf the Buzzard. I can't recall exactly where both were standing so it could just be an optical illusion but they do seem to be standing side by side.

The Colouring of the two in this and the next shot is slightly different, neither match the first two shots.

I may have given the impression in my recent post relating to Gigrin that I was bewitched only by the Kite. Hopefully this redresses the issue and shows that the Buzzards were awesome too.
