Home Sweet Home.

It is so nice to be back home after a fortnight in Goring, Oxfordshire. Having said that I want to return very quickly on a non-work related basis to spend more time photographing the amazing wildlife that I've seen there.

Included were Hare, Red Legged Partridge, Munt jac Deer, Fallow Deer, Roe Deer, Red Kite, Kestrels, Buzzards, Chiffchaff, Green woodpecker, the list goes on and on.

Haven't had chance to go through all the pics yet but here are a few.

These two of the buzzard were taken from the roadside.
This one of a hare was taken through a hedge.
This was taken on the brightest day we had this week.
This hare was with the one above and was also joined by another. I spent ages just watching them and missed some good shots but hey thats life. Over the whole week I saw more than a dozen hare in a number of areas surrounding Goring these pictures were taken in fields some 5 miles from where I was staying. Ironically the closest I got to a hare was in a field adjacent to where i was staying. I was putting a rabbit carcass out in the hope that a Kite might take interest when i nearly stood on a hare, i'm not sure who was most frightened me or it. Like I said its nice to be home but i will be going back.
